French/Brazilian Embroidery

Pattern by Le Petit Atelier. All photos were taken and are used with permission.
Look at what I found at Quilt Market! These linen-backed embroidery designs have amazing details, use beautiful stitches, and reproduce everyday life moments so delightfully! The company, Le Petit Atelier, is located in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil.

From left to right: Kimy, Kelly, and Muriel Dias.

Muriel and her two daughters Kimy and Kelly create the designs, execute them beautifully, and sell the kits which include a pattern, needle, and the floss necessary to complete each embroidery project. They bring to the business the French flair from their motherland adding the Brazilian spice and touches they acquired the past ten years while living in Florianopolis.

I want to have this kitchen in my house!!! Isn't this amazing? They are also introducing a line of cotton/linen blends to coordinate with the background and tie in with their designs.

The projects range from the simple and quick to the more involved scenes so there is something for the beginner and lots for the veteran needleworker. The trio is in the process of revamping their website to help buyers choose and order their products easily.

You can email them in English, French, or Portuguese at with questions or requests. They are fantastic to work with!

Have a wonderful day,

  1. I know, right? Their designs are amazing. Can't wait for them to revamp their site so we can buy the projects from here!

  2. I love the work done by theses Brazilians! Thanks for showing their work.

I am so glad you are taking the time to leave a comment. It is always nice to hear from you!
