This is the flannel quilt I made for my niece, Soraia. The original pattern was 70"x70", but I turned it into a twin size quilt. The pattern is Puzzle Box by Tracey Brookshier. This pattern is ideal for showcasing a favorite fabric, and perfect for flannels. In fact, this is the second pattern by Tracey that I've done.
The first one was Shoji (if only I had a picture of it... I never took pictures of my quilts before I gifted them to family and friends.):
Isn't it a fun pattern? I used green and purple inside, and a Japanese print on the borders. It was lovely!
Have you made any of her patterns? They are very creative and well written (boy, does good pattern writing make a difference or what!). Check out her site when you have a chance!
Happy quilting!
