Upcycled Jeans Bag

How about a Christmas gift, instead of ornament or wall hanging, for a change of pace? I had started this bag many years ago and never finished it. When I started working with Deco-Foils (by Therm-O-Web) I remembered this project and thought this would be a great opportunity to finish it. Oh, I like how it turned out!

The lining is of the same fabric as the decoration on the handles. I kept all the pockets from the pants in place and made sure I did not stitch over them so they are functional.

The decorations on the front add flair to what could have been just 'another' upcycle project. The Deco-Foil flowers under the buttons add dimension and shine. I already have a recipient in mind for this gift...

I hope you enjoyed this week's posts with ideas for your Christmas projects. Next week I will show you a project I am loving so much I am not sure it will ever leave my house!

Have a great weekend,
